We use Gold Filled for our gold items. Why? Because gold filled is a much thicker coating of pure gold (100 times thicker than gold plated or gold vermeil items). So our gold earrings, necklaces and bracelets do not tarnish, are hypoallergenic, are water resistant and will last much longer than gold plated items. We typically use 14ct (or 14k if you are in the USA) gold fill. So you get the longevity of solid gold, but without the price tag. We believe jewellery should be made to last, and stay kind on sensitive skin.
